A Change in Local Footraces

Over the years, there have been changes in local footraces. The crowd has become less serious and far slower.

But what you are seeing more and more of is a plethora of women of the following type: early 30's, usually dark haired, white, and dressed in a white technical top and black spandex on the bottom. Few are fast at all; most run in the 8-10 minute per mile range (or slower).

But they are always good for some visual entertainment, if you love seeing some feminine butt-crack.

Besides, their finishes count and help old, slowing runners pad their finish statistics. :-)
